The birds are all back now that the weather is cold and the feeders are emptying very quickly but I don't mind that because it means that I'm helping them all. However, it's strange that we haven't had any goldfinches as yet or at least I haven't seen any. Maybe they visit when I'm at work!! This little fellow was enjoying some seed. My internet connection is really bad again and I have no idea why but it is taking quite about half a minute to show the images on here so I may give up after I've posted a couple. I'm off to Camera Club tonight and I've just started a most horrendous cold again. I wouldn't bother going except for we have a wildlife photographer as our speaker tonight and I don't want to miss that. It is also our last night before Christmas.

Lovely close-up detail here. Yes I've started with another cold too - I should be out singing at a carol service tonight but I don't have much voice at all.
