This little fellow wants to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. He was with his friends along Wood Lane. There were several flitting about in the trees and they are so difficult to get any decent shots but I was quite pleased with this one. I probably took about 50 shots and about 6 of them are any good. Still perseverance pays off!
I looked through the shots i took on Monday and happily discovered that I did manage to get a shot of the penduline tit. When I cropped the shot of the reeds, the thing that I thought was the fluff on the reeds turned out to be the little tit. Not brilliant shots but at least I got one of this very rare bird. I shall post one in my bits & bobs album even though it was taken last year LOL - well last Monday actually.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and for viewing my project. I have received some lovely compliments and I think that's what keeps me going as several times I have thought of stopping. It's all down to you and your generosity.
I spotted some long tailed tits this morning at the country park but I had left my camera at home as it was so dark and looked like rain was threatening. Lovely capture!!
