Flowers of France

I think this was taken in Chalon but I can't be sure as I didn't make a note in my diary. I think I shall google it to find out and will be back to let you know.

Every town and village has lots of hanging baskets and tubs of flowers. Everyone takes an interest in making sure their town or village looks pretty and they award fleur (flowers) and put it on a signpost as you approach the area. A signpost will have 1-5 fleurs depicted by a painted flower.
Very pretty capture and I agree that many French towns and villages take pride in there buildings, especially the village of Vraiville, which my home is named after. FAV for the pretty scene.
