This is a filler as the weather was quite reasonable this morning while I was at work but of course it tipped it down when I left so I haven't been out for a walk.
I had a lovely morning though helping some really nice people when I visited them and when I got back to the office, I said I now know why I keep doing this job! I visited an 89 year old lady who I am taking into town on Monday to get the council to explain her council tax and housing benefit paperwork as I can't make head nor tail of it and I thought I was quite intelligent! She has been worried sick because she was told by the housing association that her rent was in arrears despite her bank statement saying that it had been paid!
The other lady I visited is nearly 92 and I am going back to see her to complete Attendance Allowance forms as I am sure that she is eligible and I have contacted the Occupational Therapy service to ask them to help her with some bath aids as she hasn't been able to get into the bath since her accident resulting in a broken hip in January. I have also made appointments with various people to sort out their benefits because they would not claim them if they had to complete the forms themselves as they are so complicated and these are all people who are elderly and helped save this country during the war.
Then after I finished work, I took 12 of my photos to have them mounted as they have now come back from the printers so it's all go. I thought that when I have finished entering them into competitions they will make nice presents if I have them framed so all in all I'm quite happy with them.
Thanks for getting so many of my images on PP - it is always really appreciated.
fantastic capture of the Robin with his mouth wide open. It must be very satisfying to be able to help people in your job.. I know your framed photos will make wonderful gifts.
