This lovely robin came and stood in my bird bath outside the kitchen window and this morning when I put the sultanas an suet pellets on the sundial for their breakfast, I could have reached out and touched the little fellow. They are so tame at the moment because they have a nest in the ivy with babies or eggs (I'm not sure which) but they are back and forth to the nest. The robins always nest on top of one of the tit nesting boxes and bring up some lovely babies so I am looking forward to them leaving the nest when I hope to get some nice images. This is not cropped as I took this with my bridge camera as it was handy in the kitchen cupboard.
I have been back to the Doctor's today as I now have another infection in my foot. It is so frustrating as I am now back on antibiotics and having to dress it every day as it continues to weep. The Nurse Practitioner said that she will probably give me another course of antibiotics to take away to Chicago but she has sent a swab and will see what the best antibiotics are to treat it. I still haven't heard from Addenbrookes about my eye.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs - it is much appreciated.
Fabulous capture Rosie! What a shame about your foot - it just keeps coming back! Let's hope the test lets them know the correct pills to give you! Hope it clear a up quickly - just over a week to go! Fav for your little robin!
I hope they get on top of that infection quickly.
Wonderful shot love the cute guy. Fav All the best with your foot...
