I'm not sure whether this was taken before or after the starling decided to pop in. After I had posted yesterday, I found another one in the house and I haven't a clue how they got in but Bas started shouting and when I went to see what was wrong, I found a baby starling fluttering against the window in the lounge and then when he saw me, he flew upstairs to the landing window. I eventually managed to catch him and took him outside but he really shouted at me! This one was in the tree shouting as well. Starlings are such noisy little birds but at the moment I have got the laptop on with the baby blue tits showing from the camera nest box. They seem to tweet most of the day now and when either parent comes in with food, it gets even noisier! They are growing very fast and 3 of them are flapping their wings and trying them out while the fourth one tends to sit quietly at the back. I worry about him as he doesn't seem to get fed much which is probably why he is much smaller.
Thanks for getting yesterday's robin on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
A super capture. Fav!! 😃 You're lucky 🍀 just to have them in the house. Twice, last year the silly birds were stuck in our chimney, which meant John had to dismantle the gas fire to get them out, then we had to chase them around the living room. Still have some dirty marks on the ceiling as they crashed into it.
