I think this is a young whitethroat

Judging by the sound he was making! He does look a bit scruffy. Not a terribly good shot but I was trying out my 70-200mm lens with the teleconverter 1.4 on. I must say I was not terribly impressed! I am going to try the converter with my 400mm lens instead.

Thank you for your lovely wishes regarding my abandoned operation yesterday. I must keep my hopes out for a better result when I see the Eye Surgeon.
