Well it seems as though my photography proves just as much challenge since arriving home! I thought I had better see whether I could visit my bluey friends. Just got everything set up and realised that one of my remote triggers had been left on all the time I was in Chicago and the batteries were flat! Note to self: take spare batteries. Instead of putting my tripod nearer to the bank and the perch, I had it right beside me so that I could press the trigger myself. I had to wait well over an hour to get a glimpse of this elusive little bird and I was just about to go when he decided to perch - thank goodness!
