A quick walk in Priory Country Park resulted in me seeing 3 crows lots of mallards, a swan and various dogs. Silly dogs were annoying the swan who soon made himself big by extending his wings and hissing at them! Anyway, the crows were quite entertaining and I liked this one with his foot in the air as he stepped forward. Crows are very intelligent birds and a lot of people don't take much notice of them but I like them. It's always hard getting a shot showing the catchlight in their eye but I managed it with several this morning so I was quite pleased.
It is my daughter's birthday today and she is 48. I can't believe it! How the years have flown by and I was a child bride as I had her when I was 18. I'm so glad that I had my children when I was young as I can still enjoy their company although I won't be going to any more concerts in Hyde Park with Claire as there was too much walking and nowhere to sit! I shall just have to be a Rock Chic (my brother's term) from a distance!
