It's the first time I have been to the brook for a week because the weather has been awful or I have been at home supporting Steve so I was pleased to see Bluey even if I did have to wait an hour to get any photos. Both him and Betsey have been busy fishing and I think it was Betsey who sat in the tree I was sitting under and I kept hearing her diving into the water with big splashes but I didn't manage to get any photos of her. I was surprised that they didn't take more food into the nest for their babies although I did think that they might have fledged. The man with the pop up hide was already there so I set up behind him. The hide was there but I must admit I did wonder whether he was inside as there was no movement whatsoever. Thank goodness the sun has shone and it hasn't rained which meant I could go down there.
