You would think he didn't need a bath when it has rained so heavily but Bobbie Blackbird decided that he did. It was nice to see him as there have been so few birds in the garden over the past weeks. However, they are starting to return thank goodness. I need to be able to photograph them through the kitchen window when it is weather like this. When I went out to the dustbin today and also yesterday, Robbie was waiting for his usual suet pellets so I think he will be a regular visitor for them again. I put the suet pellets on top of an old tree trunk outside the garage and he didn't fly off when I approached him but I don't think he will feed from my hand until the spring when he has young ones to feed.
Sadly, we had a phone call from Yvonne yesterday to say that Simon had died. It is a relief for him, I'm sure but she is going to miss him terribly. They did so much together especially with the classic cars that he has. Now, with the threat of another lockdown, we may not be able to go to his funeral but we shall just have to wait and see. Such sad days at the moment.
Thank you for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
Lovely capture and too see Bobby back visiting you again. My blackbird Cluckcluck has deserted me these last few weeks I hope he is still alive as he is getting old and has been around for about seven years.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend a very sad time for all especially under the lockdown rules.Fav
