A filler from Kenya by rosiekind

A filler from Kenya

Unusually for me, I haven't picked up my camera today. I spent the morning baking a lemon drizzle cake and preparing scotch eggs for dinner tonight. Then I got a few leaves up in the garden taking it very steady and this afternoon I went to Biggleswade with Steve as I know that he finds it difficult with lockdown not seeing his friends. We had a takeaway coffee from Subway after running some errands like picking up his prescription, etc. and then made our way home. Not a very exciting day but that's the way it is at the moment. I'm not complaining as I can always busy myself around the house and I enjoy cooking.

I don't know whether I dare go to Kenya this year due to ongoing health problems and Covid and I can't make up my mind whether to cancel my trip next February.

Thanks for getting both of my heron photos on PP yesterday and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
Such a peaceful scene

Beautiful! It will be such a shame if you have to cancel the trip Rosie but I think it may be wise. Too many unknowns with the virus and February not too far away.
