Well I spent the whole day at the hospital yesterday and I was treated very well. My Cardiologist from Papworth was really nice and I felt able to ask him anything I wanted. When he did the pressure wire test to determine what the pressures were either side of the narrowed portion of my main coronary artery, he was amazed to see that both sides were equal. He did the test again just to make sure. This meant that I didn't have the stents done. Instead he is going to arrange for me to have an echocardiogram while being on a treadmill (I don't know that that will work) to look at my aortic valve that is leaky but doesn't look too bad at rest. If that's OK, they will arrange lung function tests and then I will see the Cardiologist again in 4 months. I had a single room with my own toilet so I didn't mix with anyone else so I was thankful for that due to Covid being so rife.
Anyway, I am taking it easy for a few days so you may have to put up with photos taken through the kitchen window! Thank you all for your kind wishes and for following my project. It is always much appreciated.
Rosie we will be praying for you
