This is an old photo as I haven’t been out walking today. Sadly I had to go to yet another funeral today. Des was a very old friend and there were lots of people at the funeral because, like me, she worked for the NHS in an office capacity whereas I was a nurse. So I decided to post this photo of our gorgeous bird Bas. He’s such a good boy and he comes to bed every morning and snuggles under the covers for about an hour. He can be very noisy though as he shouts when anyone could up the drive. He always knows when we have come home and shouts because he wants us to talk to him.

Oh Rosie, How I would love to have a "snuggly bird", and a large one at that! I'm so sorry you've had to say a last goodbye to another friend...seems to be that time in our lives...
