These 2 chickens were wandering on the outside of the garden where they belong but amazingly when they saw me coming they rushed through the hedge back into the garden where they belong!
I notice that Adam who owns them has put up some netting on the five bar gate but he also needs to put up some netting one side of the fence or they will just keep wandering off and maybe lay eggs in the hedgerows rather than in his garden. Naughty chooks!
This capture made me smile -- they are like two sedate chicks mincing their way ,in the hope they will not be noticed !! and scurrying back when they saw you !!! -- and they say hens have no brains !!
