I don't know why but I just did. I'm off for a quick walk along Wood Lane to see what is about today and I missed some shots of a lovely red kite as I got Steve to stop the car but my settings were all wrong on the camera and they were so overexposed that I couldn't do anything with them. I was gutted. Perhaps I should have quickly swapped to auto (which I have never done and until today, didn't know where it was) because I only use manual settings and didn't take time to look and see what they were from yesterday's shots. Silly me!
I'm not comfortable with the manual settings but I am slowly learning them. I do however forget quite often what setting I had my camera on from the last photo I took and mess up a lot of what could have been decent photos!! Or, I forget the SD card in the computer!! I really need to get another one for a spare and put it in the truck!!
I love this photo too. The flower may be tattered and torn, but it still stands proud and beautiful from what is left!! Awesome details and lighting!! FAV!
