Juvenile Goldfinch

Well I think it is but now after posting the shot of the adult goldfinch in my main album, I'm not so sure. Is it a goldfinch or a greenfinch? I'm sure it's a juvenile though!

Lovely shot, Rosie. It is a juvenile Goldfinch, but I had to look twice. It more resembles a young Siskin than a young Greenfinch.

Love all your bird shots. This is a great capture. I only started birding after getting in to wildlife photography. I'm trying to get good shots of the parakeets that are in the trees nearby. They're so fast though!.
