This is probably not a technically good photo but I couldn't resist posting it as it shows the greenfinches wingspan which I have never been able to capture before. This is why I posted it because the little bird was flapping about trying to get on the feeder. The birds have been very busy emptying all 6 of my feeders and I usually end up filling them up at least every other day and sometimes daily!
i really like the wing action of this bird. the way her wings look transparent is cool and the birds behind her being so clearly in focus is fantastic. makes for a very interesting shot.
@quietpurplehaze@catsmeowb@carolmw Thanks - I can't remember what settings I had the camera on. Sometimes, I forget to change them and take some interesting shots accidentally but then can't replicate them because I can't remember what I did. That's the problem when you take too many pics
Well done! Used to have so many greenfinch in my garden but did see a bullfinch yesterday.But to capture a green finch AND a goldfinch, I would be ecstatic!
