Well silflay in the afternoon sun. Every time I see rabbits, I think of Watership Down which I used to read to my children. At times, it was so sad I used to read it with tears running down my face and we all had a cry. It makes me feel like crying just thinking about it but they were such happy days when my children were little. They always had a story at bedtime. What a shame that children seem to miss out these days. A bath, drink of milk, cleaning of teeth and then the settling down in bed with a story - lovely memories.
I never read the book but have seen the film. I used to read my children stories too and I'm glad to say that my granddaughter gets a bed-time story - or three - every night. such a special time.
Always read to mine too...though I never read them Watership Down...I enjoyed it though. As my kids got older, the biggest punishment I could give them was taking away their reading time!
Cute shot, We used to read bedtime stories to our kids as well, sitting all cuddled up on the sofa, a book and then a lullaby when in bed. Loely memories for me as well
I remember when my Gran you to read to me. I used to do the same for my kids most of the time until they grew out of it.
