This scene is looking away from the creek at Burnham Overy Staithe across the fields towards the woods at Holkham. Cows in the meadows are a typical scene which many Norfolk artists like to paint and our friend Pam paints lovely pictures of cows across the marshes as well as seascapes. She is one of our friends who we like to go and see but sadly Murray her husband has now had to go into a home. He is 86 and she is finding it difficult to adapt to not having him at home as they have had live in carers for the past 15 months and she is now alone. It felt so sad not seeing him there and she looked very down.
