Holkham Beach is a nature reserve and it is a wonderful expanse of sand. As you can see, it was a lovely sunny day when I took this and the skies were beautifully blue. Many people take their horses to the beach and ride there. The beach is so large that nobody gets in anyone elses way and you can walk on the sand or through the trees which divide the beach from the marshes where lots of wildfowl and other wild life live. It is lovely any time of the year and we have walked through the forest in the winter when there has been hail and snow but we love it there.
