Although I've shot him with part of his beak missing, I liked this shot better than the others because it shows the water droplets. This swan was in the river along the cycle track near to where I live. There were two of them and they were so friendly and came swimming over to see me. I walked along the other side of the river and found to my dismay that I can't walk very far because they are now excavating the gravel so close to the Mill Pond and the path comes to an end! It is a bit dodgy walking along there because there are fallen trees and I had to hang on a piece of dead wood to stop myself falling in the river! Thank goodness it didn't break! I might have fallen in the river and my camera might have got ruined. Never mind the fact that I might have got pneumonia from the freezing cold water
