Blackbird singing in the dead of night

I love that song and I always think of it when I see the blackbirds. Last night as I lay in bed, I could hear several owls calling and they seem to be chatty every night now so it is probably due to it being the mating season. I would love to know what they were saying and the male and female have very distinctive different voices.
