This is the lake away from the main part of the park and it is beautiful. I only saw 2 other people there which was lovely as it gave me a chance to enjoy the peace and solitude with just the sound of birds singing. One chap I spoke to who was walking his dog said that he had only moved to Bedford a week ago and he is finding it a lovely place to walk his dog.
I found it difficult to choose which photos to post today as I really liked so many including some flower shots I took in my garden before I even left home. Perhaps I shall have to post them another day. I keep thinking I will post them when I haven't got anything interesting to post but I always seem to find something I like. Since taking photographs regularly, I notice so many things which I probably walked past before but didn't see! Photography has certainly opened my eyes and I feel so grateful that I can see and hear the birds. They actually showed a lady who had had cochlear implants who had been deaf and they took her to listen to the dawn chorus. This was on TV a few nights ago and she was so amazed. We should never take our senses for granted.
