Double Collared Sunbird by salza

Double Collared Sunbird

We recently put a sunbird feeder up in the garden. It frustrates the Weavers no end as they cannot get the liquid out! Their beaks are just to big to fit into it. The sunbirds love it though, as do the little Cape White-eyes.

@gooner46 haha Chris, I don't feel sorry for them! They are bullies and chase the smaller birds away. They want to dominate everything, from the feeders to the bird baths, they even chase little birds away from some of the plants!

Wow- that's a pretty neat looking bird! It's almost time to put my hummingbird feeder out. I need to get some red flowers too. Great shot!
