Ripening Necterine

There's nothing better than summer fruit ripening on the espalier.

These look amazing. Mine sadly have succumbed to the brown rot and birds as I don't spray.

@zeezee No spray at my place either, sometimes I feel I'm growing to feed the birds. They have finished off the last of the strawberries.

@sandradavies I actually covered my trees with netting, but I think this caused more trouble than good as it squashed their leaves down and think nearly smothered the trees!!
