It was easy walking along the grassy flats where Ada homestead is in private ownership. The track had flowers growing on each side sown from hikers spreading the seeds on clothes socks and shoes.
The track eventually met up with St James Walkway. It was hot and pleasant but long-drawn-out spaces that seemed to never end.
