Hmmm were they making sound or just depicting sound - I am struggling to see the connection with depicting sound, but maybe that's me being too concrete in my thinking....
Haha yes me too. The entire Strand display asks many questions. Here is my view on it: The wind whistles off the harbour and blows through several sculptures and heard through one other sculpture quietly as you walk by and sounds like wind! Surprise. At night this sculpture lights up and contributes to the sound by its formation. The white centre of the vertical posts lights up blue at night. Maybe I have to get the night shot to make sense :-)
