26th July - the last full day of our tour. The next day we had to leave early for the airport to return to Malta.
This is Schonbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the former Austrian Imperial Palace. The palace was originally a hunting lodge - the current building was finished in 1743. We visited the palace and went round its beautiful rooms and garden. Though it is inferior to Versailles (Paris) which we had also visited 2 years ago, it was still worth a visit.
