A short interruption to the series of pictures from our last travels to UK and Wales.
This is last evening’s sunset taken from my house rooftop. Houses in Malta do not have slanting roofs because snow does not fall here – the weather is never that cold – though we get rare hale showers. Roofs are flat and are an additional open space for occupants. They are mostly used for drying and airing cloths but are also used as roof gardens, barbeque areas ect. Their latest utlility is to set up solar heaters and photovoltaic panels a means to save on electricity bills and improve the quality of the air.
