ON COURSE

Jeff and Nick have now passed the Suez Canal and the Red Sea and are now entering the Indian Ocean. Jeff is very excited and worried at the same time that he would not be able to make it all the way to the next stop. Suddenly
Jeff: “Look, Nick, there’s a freighter on the horizon. And it’s destined for Australia.”
Nick: “ I can see it Jeff. I told you that if we keep to the shipping route we could hitch a ride. Let’s go on it and rest a bit while it transports us closer to Australia. I’m sure on the way we could find a better ship – perhaps a cruise liner. If we do we wouldn’t even have to search for our food. There will be plenty there.”
Jeff: “ Gosh, how clever you are, Nick. Wouldn’t have reached here without you.”

I am wondering how the story is going to continue.....how will we ever know if Jeff and Nick made it all the way? Do they find a better ship? Do they encounter bad winter storms on their way? I hope the story continues??
