Once more from my 19th March album. This young tourist was on the bastion wall enjoying the view and eating crisps. There is a shear drop from this wall to the ground of some 10 storeys to the valley below. On the opposite side of the valley is Mtarfa. These bastions are the very old medieval walls of the city on the opposite end from those of yesterday's collage. From here there is a fantastic panoramic view of some 30% of the island.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
Ok call me crazy- but something doesn't look right on this picture to me. The fellow eating his chips looks natural enough, but the folks behind him seem to be missing the lower half of their bodies. Did you merge two photos or am I really in need of glasses that badly?
Knowing exactly where the place is, I would NEVER sit on those walls hehehe! I would add that the building in Mtarfa in the background was part of the British barracks / military hospital when Malta was a British colony...and the place where my wife was born hehehe! :)
@olivetreeann - I think they are standing in fox holes...
