Took this shot while on an early morning walk from Ghammar to Ghasri in Gozo and back while the ladies were preparing themselves for us all to go out for the morning.
There is a saying among the older generations in Malta, coming from colonial times. The saying goes like this: “If an egg (common hen’s egg) were to have two handles, Englishmen would opt for two persons to carry it – one for each handle ( and this to share the weight and avoid stress).” I think this group have learnt have learnt the lesson, haha.
