Some days ago I was walking along the Sliema promenade looking around for some shots to take when, on the rocks below, I saw this tiny bird hopping from one puddle to another. I took a quick shot of it and did not bother to look at it as I thought it was just a normal house sparrow. When I was looking at my shots on the computer I found out it was a different bird altogether – it had the pose of a robin but not the same colours. On the internet I found it was a Black Redstart which species comes from the same family as robins.
