One final shot from Strasbourg. Shot taken on the 30th June, the fifth day of our vacation.
We couldn’t leave Strasbourg without having a glimpse of the European Parliament building in Strasbourg. So we drove there, stopped at a reserved parking just outside the gate and Ian and I took a few shots. This is the one I liked most as on the guard’s room there was a reflection of the building which looked like an extension of it.
Joke: Little Joey wanted 100 Euros badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened.
Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the 100 Euros. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, Europe, they decided to send it to Jean-Claude Junker, the President of the EU.
Junker was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send Joey a 5.00 Euro bill thinking that this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
Joey was delighted with the 5.00 Euros and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:
Dear God,
Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Strasbourg. and, as usual, those crooks deducted 95.00 Euros.
Thanks,
Joey
Great shot!! Love the lines and that reflection! It looks like part of the building showing through under a facade!! Love the lighting and details!! The joke was pretty good too! Just like all our law makers!! LOL FAV!
