Not exactly an ode but I liked how it fitted in title.
I have taken shots of this permanent street art and have shown it already on 365 but never at night time. I liked how the figures stand out with the black sky in the rear. This art piece is made of concrete and covered in marble. That guy is risking his life crossing from here with all the traffic that was passing by – there is a pedestrian crossing a few metres away.
Thank you so much for looking and for your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
Two days of gloomy wet and windy weather have passed but today should be the same.
What a delightful piece of street art , it stands out well against the dark background . It looks almost luminous in the street light .
We always find some foolhardy persons defying everything at the risk of their own life when a crossing is provided a few meters away .
Similar weather here too , Dione as we experience the doom and gloom of the November weather !!
It's a pleasing piece of art and it conveys family togetherness rather well, I think.
Silly not to cross at the crossing but at least the pedestrian seems to be looking and judging when to cross rather than staring at a phone screen and stepping into the road, unheeding of the traffic.
Great find and capture of this nice art work. I see people crossing the street like that all of the time here. I feel like yelling at them, "Walk on the sidewalk for two more blocks and cross at the traffic light!"
A very unusual and effective piece of street art. I have to say that we have a pedestrian crossing in our village which some folk ignore. I'm far too chicken to do the same.
Great capture of this beautiful street art. @quietpurplehaze. In our country and this time I think on a divorce. I don`t know how it is on Malta , in our country one of three ,even more.

Oh I didn't think of that.
