This is how my peach tree looked like up to a few weeks ago. It is empty of fruit now – we ate many and threw away many, too. They fall to the ground as soon as they ripen and bust as soon as they hit the ground. Christine checked them several times a day.
Thank you so much for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
Most be great to grow you own peaches and be able to eat them fresh from the tree. a jealouse making capture.
Farmers don`t grow crops for there beauty. They are contracted by a seed compagny to grow them.
They look beautiful, I guess they must have tasted good too.
We have an apple tree that is so old the apples taste awful and we have to throw away a lot that fall. We leave some on the ground for the birds to feed from through the winter. They seem to enjoy them, especially once they've rotted - and fermented! The blackbirds gorge on them, get drunk and then pick fights. It's very funny to watch.
