Why with a difference?
If you remember, the shots I took the other day with the Sigma lens mounted on my Nikon were not satisfactorily focused. So the next day I went again to the salt pans armed with the same camera and lens but I also took with me my tripod and my smaller Panasonic FZ45 bridge camera. The Nikon wouldn't work because of the lack of compatibility with the lens and I was so frustrated that I didn't read a message on the screen of the camera. So out came my faithful Panasonic with its 24x zoom, put it on auto, used full zoom and took some nice pictures. However, the egrets weren't busy on the day compared with the previous day.
Here are three shots of those I took.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's.
Lovely collage. Usually my subjects do not appear when I return... unless it is a building ;) So although the egrets were not as busy, at least they were still there!
Fingers crossed for you that there will be a next time.
Great clarity in these shots. I have a Nikon 5100 and it works well with the Sigma 18 - 300 lens especially when using the tripod. Shame that you have had previous problems with the focus. Have you check if the OS button is on or off ( Below the Focus button) maybe this will help. Good luck.
Well your Panasonic helped you to conquer the camera problems and although the egrets aren't as busy they still came out nice and clear in these pictures. Well done!
Fingers crossed for you that there will be a next time.
