The birds were at the feeder having a party until I got my camera out!
Through the gate, a carnation still flowering and another in bud, the patterns on the bridge, twisted Kilmarnock Willow only shows it's shape in winter, hardy Lavender....blown over in the gale and the pot was frozen to the ground so cracked when I lifted it...oh well!! Down the manse drive and more bridge patterns! Lovely day to be out if well wrapped up!

What a lot of snow you still have, we only have it on the hills now ..but freezing tonight ! Your pictures are lovely & I like all the little things you point out to us !!!

Thank you Pat and Carla! We just had a dusting of snow yesterday but quite a little fall from the north west overnight and you could still see it clinging to the north west side of the trees in our neighbour's garden even in late afternoon! Forecast ok for the week though and positively tropical at 12 degrees for Thursday!!!:)
