So lovely to just enjoy the light and warmth of the sun from indoors yesterday. Relaxing day to end the Easter holidays.
Three good things
1. Ready to go back after a lovely break
2. Allan cooked a wonderful venison dish for dinner
3. I made a very successful Apple Bakewell Tart for afters!
(This was particularly successful as Allan enjoyed it and he's not too keen on desserts usually!!!!)

Pat the plant in the corner was a birthday present from Allan when Jonathan was a baby....1987....and I'm very happy that it has survived so well and so long despite much neglect!!! I think it knows I love it as I talk to it from time to time!
@happypat@olivetreeann@digitalrn PS the Apple Bakewell happened because I found some frozen apples .....which I couldn't identify! ...in the freezer, a pastry case from Marks and Spencer and a quickly mixed topping! Still enjoying it!
