It's roasting again....and the autoglass man has come to replace my windscreen which has had a creeping crack in it for several months. During term time I don't drive far now that I work at the school down the road, but I needed it done before driving up to mum and dad's in the holidays ...and perhaps more!
I've had this car for nearly10 years and it really has been very dependable....and even with Aberdeenshire distances it's only done 60,000 miles. Hope it does another while!
When I saw the ACV on the number plate I thought 'a cute vehicle' and have always remembered the registration number since!!!
Three good things
1. More lovely sunshine, dry washing overnight, and all the windows open.
2. In the mood to iron and pack and tidy up.....!!!
3. Found a summer dress I was dreaming about last night.......packed away in the spare room with other summer clothes ........hurray!
PS windscreen replaced and in awe of modern technology...I sign a little plastic thing with a plastic pen and he prints off a receipt in his van with my signature on it! What is going to be possible in 10 more years I wonder?
Nothing better than a good vehicle that services you well. Hang onto it while it lasts. It looks great yet. My 2003 SUV is ready to turn over 200,000 miles, and I am hoping for at least another year or so.
