Travelling back in the train was so full of contrasts.
Thunder clouds, heavy rain, brilliant sun, golden fields, reflections and looming grey.
And very few stretches where you couldn't see the seasonal pink from the Willowherb.......a weed but one of the nicer varieties!!!
Three good things
1. An extra few days with mum and dad
2. Hugs from old and young
3. A kind friend who picked me up from the railway station as Allan is still with his mum.
Lovely shot. Rosebay Willow herb was INTRODUCED into gardens by the Victorians. .. but it was a great escapee , and just too rumbustious for the gardens . so it really is just a flower in the wrong place in our little plots.

Thank you for your comments - escapee is just the word June! When all the 'fairies' start to fly I wonder where they will land!
@june I didn't know that! but I do know it's lovely - we used to refer to the seeds as "sugar fairies" and they always remind me of going back to school in September!
