Catching up again and having a browse through summer pictures I found this lovely lightness as all the heads were reaching for the sunshine.
Three good things
1. An interesting hour with the sensory support lady sharing information about how hearing aids work. One of my group wears them and it was so useful to have it all explained. And affirming in that lots of what we do is just what he needs!
2. Fun learning out of doors with the 6 year olds being explorers in our 'wild area'
3. Fish and chips for tea. There's a lady with fresh fish in her van comes to the square every Wednesday and I can buy a portion of chips in our fish and chip shop on the way home after our staff meeting. It's the best night of the week when we don't have to think 'what will we have for tea?' and it's on the table within 10 minutes of me getting in to the house.....perfect!
Like little summery stars! We have a hearing support unit at our local school and I help recruit TAs for the deaf children. I'm still learning about the specific issues around language development - it's a fascinating area and we are lucky to have excellent teachers of the deaf to provide expertise.
@judithg how nice to hear that! Our little guy is just beginning to talk to me and we've found he loves photos (how good I enjoy taking them!!) especially of people he recognises and ones where he is doing things....he's loving them on the computer and calls his friends to come and see :) JOY!
All your GT are just perfect...doesn't take much to make us happy does it ?
This is a reaching out shot, love the little heads with the sun on their faces!
