Glad to see the cake survived the journey by train. It was adapted from Mary Berry's boiled lemon cake and we all enjoyed it so much I would certainly make it again!
Three good things
1 Birthday weekends mean we can celebrate for a few days.
2. fun to be 'at home' when all the lovely cards and gifts arrive.
3. 87 years old and still putting other people before herself!! Simply the best I say!
