One from my big tidy up session on Saturday. Love the little people.....they cost such a lot of money when we had very little to spend so they really are treasure when I put them on the tree or being carefully packed away. The felt stars were a gift from a lovely friend, the cross stitched one I did before Susannah was born when I used to help with our local Guides group. And the straw ones have their own stories!
Three good things
1. A lovely day back at school. Some lovely holiday stories and great talk and draw activities.
2. Lunchtime......I'd never noticed before but the children were 'starving' by the time we were going to the dining room. I think they must have been 'snacking' lots at home over Christmas!
3. A lift home at the end of the day! Ah....I just have to phone the house and Allan says 'lift?' It doesn't take long to walk but when I've stayed late to tidy up it feels like a mile uphill.
