Dornoch Cathedral in a white coat

I can't take any credit for this beautiful picture which was shared with me on Facebook today. It was taken last Tues night and shows how much snow fell in Dornoch which is just across the Dornoch Firth from Tain where I grew up. I've taken and shared photos of the cathedral a few times....I love the sandstone colours in sunlight but this is very effective.
Three good things
1. A gentle day with Mum
2. Lunch with her lovely neighbour who came over...too much snow and ice to take risks
3. Trains on time and the snow forecast seems to be just sleet and rain......so far!!! Still half an hour to my destination. 😊
postcard perfect

It seems there's a lot of snow around Scotland this year. I hope my travel plans don't get thwarted in a couple of weeks time! This is a lovely image.

@jamibann thank you. Yes there has been more snow in some places than for years. West and south of Scotland have had big snow with lots of travel issues. Strangely we just had frost this time.
