The snowdrops are peeping out in Dad's garden. It's when little things happen that we miss him.
I'm sure there will be lots more 'oh there are.....garden moments' as the year passes.
Three good things
1 almost round the clock sleep
2. Coffee with Mum and her friend Sheila
3. Trying out the new cordless hoover....think I would like one too.
Oh what a sweet sight, simple things like that do catch you out, he would have been coming into his kitchen & telling your mum that the snowdrops were out!
I'm sorry to read of your dad's passing. I certainly understand about all the small things that bring back memories but even though some may be bittersweet, it's a blessing to have good ones. Sweet reminders of your wonderful dad.
