The flowers on the hawthorn tree are popping open with all the warmth this weekend. Sometimes called Mayflower it's a signal that vests can be put away for the summer months!
I hope they're right. It has been very warm here today and in spite of very wet ground over winter months some plants look like they need a good watering. Seems like all the rain is falling down south.
Three good things
1. Breakfast at the patio table - rare delight
2. Jonathan and Sarah stayed till afternoon. Lovely to catch up and not rushing.
3. Cool clothes!
Very pretty shot and edit. In my home county of Suffolk it’s also thought to be hasty to ‘cast a clout till May is out’ i.e. until the month of May is finished!
