Loving the roses and worked for hours today clearing overgrown flower bed at the edge of thè garden. I think it has been neglected for a few years! But with the warm weather and the fantastic quality of the soil in 'Dad's garden' it was a much easier process than in usual summers.
Three good things
1. Memories and gardening go together nicely.
2. Several lovely passers by stopped for a chat.
3. Big wheelbarrow
Beautiful. And yes, the weather is amazing - so much warmer than usual Scottish summers. I did a bit in the garden yesterday too - even though it is still a building site! They're off on holiday now until mid-next week!

It's lovely working in the garden at Mum's as the richness and depth of soil is so good in comparison with home! But Dad fed the garden SO richly over 60 years and we've just been working ours for 25!!!
