I'm quite amazed that this little orchid, which was a gift in the summer term, is still flourishing on our coffee table. There have been a few blooms which fell off as they dried, but there are still lovely signs of more to come! Keep ignoring it most of the time I am saying to myself. It certainly doesn't get much TLC. See the snow in the garden!!! There were some very large flakes falling when we opened the curtains this morning but the sun came out soon after and now it's very pretty.
Three good things
1. Late getting up.... very cosy tucked up in bed!
2. Skype catch-up with Laura in Melbourne, 37 degrees there today.
3. We put the garden fleece on our camellia after lunch. It was very high last year and rather unmanageable so we pruned it radically and it has produced lots of flower buds. The east side of the house with morning sun is not the best place for it especially with hard frost, but we have now lived here for 25 years and only once did it nearly die! Hopefully it still be fine in April / May and covered in pink again
Thank you for your lovely comments.
